This month Chandos will record the BBC Philharmonic playing Fauré choral works under the direction of Yan Pascal Tortelier in New Broadcasting House, Manchester. At St Paul's School in Barnes Rustem Hayroudinoff records Rachmaninov solo piano works and Philip Langridge will record works by Maw, Britten and Dowland with Stephen Marchionda on the guitar. The Royal Northern College of Music Wind Orchestra will continue their international journey of wind band classics with a recording of Russian wind music. In the BBC Studios in Maida Vale the BBC Concert Orchestra will record music by Gordon Langford under the baton of Rumon Gamba. |
